Who we are
Linkfree is operated by Datta Panchal ("we", "us"). We act as the data controller for personal data collected through the Service. Contact us at dattadevc@gmail.com with any privacy questions.
What we collect
- Account data — email, password (stored hashed), display name, username.
- Profile content — links, bios, avatars, theme choices, and digital products you publish.
- Usage data — page views, click events, device type, browser, and referrer URLs, used to power your analytics dashboard.
- Support messages — content of emails or in-app messages you send us.
- Technical data — IP address, session identifiers, and server logs needed for security and fraud prevention.
Why we use it
- To provide and operate the Service (legal basis: contract performance).
- To secure the Service and detect fraud and abuse (legal basis: legitimate interests).
- To improve the product and fix bugs (legal basis: legitimate interests).
- To respond to support requests (legal basis: contract performance).
- To send service updates or marketing emails where permitted (legal basis: consent or legitimate interests; you can opt out anytime).
- To comply with legal obligations (legal basis: legal obligation).
Data retention
We keep account data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain it for legal or accounting reasons (e.g. tax records).
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, to object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent. You can exercise these rights by emailing us at dattadevc@gmail.com. EU/UK users also have the right to lodge a complaint with their local supervisory authority.
International transfers
Your data may be processed in countries outside your own, including the United States. When data leaves the UK/EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions.
Security
We use industry-standard technical and organisational measures — encryption in transit, access controls, and regular reviews — to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, so we encourage you to use a strong, unique password.
Changes to this notice
We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the Service or by email.
